Internship? Hmm...

So now that I’m finally at Texas A&M, it was time for me to start getting involved. I didn’t realize how big a deal internships were until everyone around me and their dog had one. Well I really enjoy filmmaking and was bummed A&M didn’t have a major even remotely close to film. Then God sent me an email…
The email was really from Abbie Cole (but y’all know what I meant). Abbie always forwards me emails she gets relating to film (thanks Ab!) The email had a flyer attached:

If you read it, you’ll notice that this internship is absolutely perfect for me! The flyer also said to have a copy of my resume and portfolio…and I didn’t have either.
After a week of being a hermit, I made a website via iWeb that had both my portfolio and resume. You can view that site here: http://jonathancarroll.tk
I was pretty proud of myself :)
Two days later, I get an email back from John Zollinger saying he wanted to set up an interview. And THAT’S what I did today. The interview went VERY well and I’m in the running with 2 other “videographers”. ;) John is doing a “test” to see who he will pick by having us create a 2-3 minute video of whatever he says.
So that’s where I’ll be the next few days…
