I have to say I'm so glad Apple came out with SOMETHING to get the "pros" to shut up. Okay, okay, if I were a professional at fcp then I'd call myself a pro, too.
Ever since the day that Final Cut Pro X was released, every article I read about the $300 software emphasized that this update wasn't in fact an update; more like a completely new application. I also read a lot about it being a less-professional...which, of course, pisses off the professionals. Why wouldn't it?
Now that the update released a trail version, I thought I'd give it shot. I'm not gonna sit here and complain about the little tiny features it does or doesn't have. The biggest things that bother me is how they got rid of FCP 7 and Final Cut Express 4. So if you deleted those to get FCPX..I am so sorry. If you didn't delete it, then quit whining, ask for a refund, and get on with your life.
I LOVE the chroma keyer in FCPX. So much easier. I don't like how it resembles iMovie. I LOVE how it renders in the background. I hate how it's so hard to keep your files organized. I like and love and hate a lot more but it's 12:30am and this guy's gotta test tomorrow! Prayers are welcomed!!
